Pneumatic
shocks on the rear swing arm and large front struts absorb bumps for each pontoon.
The pylons that attach the pontoons to the center pod further isolate the driver
from bumps. Computer controlled drive-by-wire servos and auxillary servos steer
the front wheels. A permanent magnet motor with 4:1 reduction gear, regenerative
brakes, and Brembo electric piston brakes reside inside the hub of each wheel.
Each motor is independently controlled by the drive computer, which can detect
slip or grip.
